Welcome to HIVE (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, social media channels, and participation in our events. By accessing our platforms or attending our events, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Use of Our Website and Services

You may use our website and related services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our platforms

  • Attempt to access restricted areas without permission

  • Upload harmful code, spam, or misleading information

  • Use our content for commercial purposes without written consent

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Our website and services are intended for users aged 16 and over, unless otherwise stated.
Certain events or areas (e.g., tattooing procedures) may require attendees to be 18+. Valid ID may be requested.

3. Event Participation

By attending a HIVE event, you agree to:

  • Follow all venue rules, safety guidelines, and staff instructions

  • Respect artists, vendors, staff, and other attendees

  • Comply with age restrictions, health policies, and local laws

  • Acknowledge that activities involving tattooing or body modification carry risks, and any agreements are made directly between you and the artist/vendor

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals for disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behaviour.

4. Tickets, Payments & Refunds

  • Ticket sales are processed through third-party platforms (e.g., Eventbrite or equivalent).

  • All pricing, fees, and payment terms are set by the ticketing provider.

  • Refunds, cancellations, or transfers are subject to the provider’s policy unless otherwise stated.

  • HIVE is not responsible for transaction errors caused by third-party services.

5. Vendor & Artist Applications

When applying to participate as an artist or vendor:

  • You must provide accurate information

  • You are responsible for required licences, certifications, and insurance

  • Deposits or fees (when applicable) may be non-refundable

  • You must comply with event rules, health standards, and safety requirements

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, branding, visuals, logos, photos, text, and media belong to HIVE unless otherwise credited.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission

  • Claim ownership of our brand or materials

  • Use our trademarks for your own purposes without written agreement

Artists and vendors retain rights to their own work. Shared or submitted content may be used for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.

7. Photography & Media

By attending a HIVE event, you understand that:

  • Photography and videography may be in operation

  • You may appear in images or footage used for marketing, social media, or documentation

  • No compensation is provided for this usage

We will not single out or directly feature individuals without consent, unless they are participating in an activity (e.g., tattoo competitions, interviews).

If you prefer not to be photographed, please speak with staff upon entry.

8. User-Generated Content

If you submit content to us (e.g., messages, comments, reviews, photos), you grant HIVE a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and share this content for promotional or informational purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that your submissions:

  • Do not violate copyright

  • Do not contain harmful or unlawful material

  • Do not infringe on the rights of others

We may remove content that breaches these rules.

9. Accuracy & Availability

We aim to keep our information accurate and up to date, but:

  • Content may change without notice

  • Event details, prices, and schedules may be updated

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or platforms

We are not liable for any errors, delays, or disruptions.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HIVE is not liable for:

  • Personal injury, loss, or damage arising from event attendance

  • Losses resulting from third-party services (ticketing, payment providers, etc.)

  • Errors, downtime, or technical issues on our website

  • Actions of artists, vendors, or attendees who operate independently

Tattooing, piercing, and body modification services are performed solely by contracted artists/vendors. HIVE26 is not responsible for outcomes or aftercare.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Our website and social media may contain links to external sites.
We are not responsible for:

  • Their content

  • Their privacy or data practices

  • Any losses arising from interacting with them

Use third-party platforms at your own discretion.
